Maru has spent more than 25 years working with flowers. Through Monarch Beauty Farm, she grows specialty cut flowers in sustainable urban gardens on Chicago’s North Side, with a focus on ecological growing practices, seasonal beauty and thoughtful floral design.
During this intimate 90-minute demonstration, Maru will create a seasonal Thanksgiving centerpiece from beginning to end while sharing her techniques for flower selection, preparation, sustainable design, composition and finishing touches.

Advance registration and payment are required for everyone—members, member guests and nonmembers. Each ticket includes the demonstration and one Thanksgiving centerpiece. There is no complimentary admission, and member coupon codes do not apply.
