Step away from the holiday rush and join us for a beautiful midday gathering with Maru Braemer, founder of Monarch Beauty Farm, as she demonstrates the art of creating a seasonal holiday wreath.
Maru brings more than 25 years of experience working with flowers and natural materials. Through Monarch Beauty Farm, she grows specialty cut flowers in sustainable urban gardens on Chicago’s North Side, with an approach rooted in seasonality, sustainability and working in harmony with nature.
During this 90-minute demonstration, Maru will show how she selects seasonal greenery and natural materials, builds shape and texture, uses sustainable design techniques and adds finishing touches. There will be time for questions, conversation and inspiration for your own home.
